For many years now I have been a plasma fan.  I had never thought the LCD technology had caught up in size versus quality.  My Panasonic 42inch Plasma which I purchased 6 years ago is still going great guns.  Even now, I think some of the cheaper plasma and LCD screens don’t compare to buying quality.  Panasonic have recently released a media compain pushing the fact that Plasma is still better for a big screen, I applaude them on this, even though they are pushing plasma because that is what they do best, their website comparing different types is honest and gives the general consumer a very clear understanding of the differences.

Having said all that, a mate of mine purchased a new Samsung 40inch CD screen 5 months ago and I have to say… wow!!! It is a great picture, certainly the best I have seen on the market for an LCD of that size.  The key factor still remains though, LCD – Black is Grey! however colors are clear and true. Plasma – Black is Black but the brightness is not there for sun filled rooms.

Anyway, check out the Panasonic site for a clearer picture http://www.whychooseplasma.com.au/ and if you are still interested in LCD check out Samsung  http://www.samsung.com/au/products/tv/lcdtv/

We have had the domain and business name Wireless Gadgets for 5 years now, I notice that the term ‘gadgets’ is finally catching on!  The new Microsoft release uses ‘gadgets’ in their desktop dashboard application.  Mac have been using ‘widgets’ in it’s dashboard for some time and Microsoft has released similiar functionality in Vista called Windows Sidebar which allows you to plugin ‘gadgets’ to configure this handy tool that can display weather, news, calendar items and much much more.

After many years of running Wireless Gadgets, we have finally decided to re-model once again.  We have focused on a site that is easy to navigate and has better accessibility to reviews.  Our aim on the coming months is to have dynamic content with updates daily on new devices or wireless software in the market. We look forward to your continued support and feedback.
